Mar. 3, 2015 – Delta, British Columbia, Canada – Japan’s national leader in aircraft charter has quickly given new life to its largest-capacity helicopter with upgrades performed promptly, safely and on site by Heli-One.
Aero Asahi Corporation (AAC) chose Heli-One, the world’s largest independent provider of helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, to retrofit and carry out a soft-trim interior customization of its Airbus Helicopters AS332L1 Super Puma.
A team from Heli-One’s facility in Boundary Bay, British Columbia, Canada, travelled to the AAC hangar at the Tokyo Heliport, and completed the entire project in just two weeks.
“We truly value Heli-One’s commitment to safety and speed of work, and its ability to work from our facility,” says Youji Nagatsu, Procurement Manager, AAC. “Keeping our aircraft on site made logistics easy, and returned the Super Puma to service, flying customers, much more quickly.”
