Miguel Carrasco President

Miguel is President of Heli-One and Senior Vice President, Technical Services at CHC Helicopter. He joined CHC in 2016 with 25 years of leadership experience in procurement, supply chain and technical operations. Prior to CHC, Miguel worked for a range of complex and industry leading companies, including as Head of Global Strategic Sourcing and Business Intelligence at Conoco Phillips and Managing Director of Technical Procurement at American Airlines. Miguel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and an MBA from Arizona State University.

Jaime Bustos Vice President, Parts Supply and Supply Chain

Jaime is Vice President of Parts Supply and Supply Chain for Heli-One and CHC Helicopter, a premier global rotary-wing aftermarket and aviation services provider.
In his role, Jaime oversees Parts Supply and Supply Chain Services, which include flight-hour component inventory and repair programs for commercial airlines, the sales of serviceable used materials such as engines, gearboxes, and airframe parts, and comprehensive logistics and distribution services. Jaime drives strategic partnerships with OEMs to maximize global commercial value, and his leadership ensures that CHC Helicopter and Heli-One remain at the forefront of innovation and service in the aviation industry. Additionally, Jaime spearheads initiatives to develop new parts supply niche markets, continually expanding the company’s reach and capabilities.
With a career spanning over 25 years in the aviation and natural resources industry, Jaime has amassed a wealth of experience. He has held key positions, including Managing Director for Maintenance and Engineering Procurement at American Airlines (Tulsa, OK), where he oversaw the strategic sourcing of airframes, avionics, aircraft systems, and engines.
Jaime’s academic qualifications further enhance his professional profile. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the prestigious Universidad Technical Federico Santa Maria (Chile) and an MBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.

Morten Johannessen General Manager, Heli-One Canada & Heli-One Norway

Morten Johannessen is the General Manager for Heli-One Canada and Heli-One Norway, overseeing the Canadian (Agar & River Road) and Norwegian (Stavanger) operations. Morten has been with Heli-One since 1994 (preceding consolidation). Prior to becoming General Manager, he was the Heli-One Director of IT Applications and had been in leadership roles in Supply Chain, project management, Business Development and Production Control. Morten began his career as an technical engineer in the dynamics workshop at Heli-One in Norway and progressed his career in Supply Chain before moving into Information Technology. He lead the standardization of processes across CHC with the replacement of legacy MRO applications by the implementation of AMOS (an aircraft maintenance management system).

Jacek Baranowski General Manager, Heli-One Poland

Jacek Baranowski is the General Manager of Heli-One Poland. Baranowski has spent more than twenty years in the aviation industry, working for a number of first and second tier suppliers, including leadership positions at Bodycote Aerospace, SECO/WARWICK RETECH Thermal Equipment Manufacturing, Wallair Enginer Components (WEC Valatia), Unison Engine Components, AIC S.A. and Listemann Polska. He began his career as a Metallurgist Engineer at WSK PZL Rzeszow S.A. (now Pratt and Whitney Rzeszow) and has a Masters of Science in metallic materials engineering from the Rzeszow University of Technology.

Colin Smith Head of Growth, Strategy and Commercial

Colin Smith is Heli-One’s Head of Growth, Strategy and Commercial. He is responsible for development and execution of the Heli-One business strategy to cohesively bring products to market, support customers and strategically position us to grow the business. Additionally, he is implementing Heli-One’s growth strategy through leadership of the commercial, sales, business development and customer support teams.

Colin has over 30 years of aerospace and defense experience, including time as a U.S. Navy helicopter pilot, test pilot and maintenance officer. Following his military career, Colin worked for Bell Helicopter and Hendsoldt Inc., leading Business Development and Program Management.
