CHC Helicopter is hosting the 9th annual CHC Safety & Quality Summit in Vancouver, BC, Canada, between March 18 and 20, 2013. This year’s theme is Building an Accident Free Legacy: Predictive Safety to Avoid 'the Inevitable'. Heli-One is a division of CHC Helicopter and a proud sponsor of the event.

The Summit is a gathering of some of the greatest minds in aviation safety. It attracts hundreds of delegates from companies big and small from around the globe. Regulators, fixed wing and helicopter operators and related industries like oil & gas, insurance and crisis management meet to find ways to improve aviation safety worldwide.

This year’s Summit includes speakers including William Amelio President and CEO, CHC Helicopter; the Honorable Mark R. Rosekind, PhD, NTSB Member; Dr. Bill Johnson, FAA; Dr. Scott A. Shappell and Dr. Douglas A. Wiegmann, co-developers of the Human Factors Analysis and Classification System (HFACS); and Kimberley Turner, Founder and CEO of Aerosafe Risk Management. In addition, sessions will be hosted by speakers from international academic bodies as well as companies like Sikorsky, Shell, Eurocopter, Thales and AgustaWestland.
