Heli-One Poland Receives Federal Aviation Administration Approval for Base Maintenance March 31, 2016

March 31, 2016 – Rzeszow, Poland – Heli-One’s Rzeszow, Poland facility has received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) repair station approval. Heli-One Poland’s facility, which opened in 2014, provides base maintenance support for Airbus AS332, H225, and H135 aircraft. In addition, it offers component repairs such as the AW139 exhaust duct. This approval offers U.S.-based operators or U.S.-registered aircraft a new cost-efficient maintenance alternative at a state-of-the-art facility with competitive turnaround times.

This latest certificate achieved by the Heli-One Poland facility is in addition to other approved maintenance organization certificates from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of the Cayman Islands, NATO Allied Quality Assurance Publications (AQAP) 2120, Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), and National Civil Aviation Institute of Angola.

Heli-One’s Poland facility services aircraft using the latest technology, leveraging a global network of resourcing and expertise. The facility was designed using LEAN principles, ensuring that maintenance is conducted with the highest level of efficiency and safety. The 65,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in Poland has a service hangar that can accommodate up to six large airframes, a fully equipped avionics workshop, a structure shop with a specialized tail boom repair area, and a dedicated paint bay.
